Michigan State basketball finally has a healthy Malik Hall and Jaden Akins back in the fold, and boy did they make an impact. On Friday, the Spartans were able to withstand a few runs from Buffalo to beat Buffalo at home 89-68.
Joey Hauser led the Spartans in scoring with 14 points as his great season continues for MSU. The aforementioned Jaden Akins and Malik Hall combined for 24 points on 5-for-5 three point shooting on the night. AJ Hoggard also had a nice game, scoring 11 points.
As mentioned, Buffalo did make a few runs and made it close a few times, but for the most part, MSU made it through this one in control of the game, which was a welcome sight after a season that has been a grind thus far.
