Michigan State basketball will be heading to Hawaii this season, set to play in the famous Maui Invitational once again. This year’s field is star studded, with seven of the eight teams having made the NCAA Tournament a year ago, with the back-to-back National Champion UConn Huskies being featured as well.
Now, according to Jon Rothstein, the Spartans have their first round opponent. Michigan State will square off with Colorado. Win or lose, Memphis or UConn will be the second matchup for both MSU and CU.
