Well, it’s safe to say that this is not the start of the season for Michigan State basketball that anyone expected to see. On Sunday, the Spartans dropped another Big Ten loss, this time to Nebraska on the road, 77 to 70.
This was another frustrating game for MSU, especially considering the fact that the Spartans shot 47.1-percent from three but still lost to a team they were favored ahead of. It’s a little baffling that MSU shot so well but only took 17 threes, while Nebraska shot 23 at a 43.5-percent clip.
This ends an 11-game losing streak Nebraska had against MSU.
