Tom Izzo’s squad was snubbed from the polls to open the 2022-2023 season. Albeit disappointing for the fans, Izzo’s teams love being underdogs and they proved it once again.
Following a week that saw the Spartans take out Kentucky in double-overtime in the Champions Classic, and a win over Villanova in the Gavitt Tipoff Games, MSU has made an appearance in the AP poll.
Michigan State has checked in at No. 12 in the latest edition of the AP poll.
