Michigan Speaker Wentworth raises $601,900 this election cycle

According to the most recent campaign finance reports made to the Michigan Secretary of State, Michigan House Speaker Jason Wentworth has raised $601,900 and spent $369,916 between Jan. 1, 2021 and Dec. 31, 2021. Wentworth is the number eight fundraiser in state politics in the 2022 election cycle so far.

The speaker of the Michigan House is the leader of the state’s lower chamber. Rep. Wentworth is a member of the Republican Party and has served as a state representative since 2017. Rep. Wentworth’s current term ends in 2023.
