It’s fairly typical for a quarterback to get an Ohio State offer then see multiple schools follow suit.
That’s exactly what happened with Ohio 2025 quarterback Tavien St. Clair. Buckeye head coach Ryan Day is one of the best QB evaluators in the country and saw enough from the 6-foot, 4-inch and 210 pound in-state signal caller and Ohio State offered.
The windfall of top teams followed as LSU and Alabama followed suit just a few days later. Now, the Buckeyes rival, Michigan, wants to get in on St. Clair’s recruitment, as they now have offered. This battle is getting interesting as he will be on both campuses this week for camps.

At the current moment, it seems like St. Clair is Ohio State’s to lose, as the 26th ranked quarterback and 337th overall prospect according to the 247Sports composite has multiple crystal ball picks to land in Columbus.
