Michelle Keegan was enjoying a well-deserved tropical getaway when she revealed she will be coming to the small screen in a new Netflix drama.
The former Corrie star took to Instagram to share the news with her 6.4million followers that she would be appearing in Fool Me One, a brand new edition to the popular Harlan Coben series.
The 35-year-old had been recently spotted filming a new upcoming TV project based in the heart of Manchester. But after wrapping another series of Brassic, the star treated herself to a holiday, according to the Daily Star.
And this post got her army of loyal fans talking as she soaked up the rays in a tiny strapless beige-coloured bikini and sent social media into a meltdown announcing the news.
The brunette beauty was pictured stretched out on a sun lounger in the two-piece, which showed off her flawless golden tan which popped against her skimpy swimsuit.
Michelle paired the look with an oversized straw hat and a pair of dainty sunglasses to complete the beach look. And her natural beauty shone through, as she chose to go fresh-faced with just a touch of lip balm and moisturiser to protect her glowing clear skin.
The award-winning actress appeared to be doing her homework as she was pictured reading Harlan Coben’s novel Fool Me Once, which the show was based on.
She captioned the exciting post: “Finally the secrets out!! I’m over the moon to be joining the cast of FOOL ME ONCE, a @netflixuk thriller based on the book by the extremely talented @harlancoben. Here we goooo …".
Netflix also acknowledged the news on their official Instagram account as they celebrated Michelle's arrival to join the cast, which includes Adeel Akhtar, Richard Armitage, and Joanna Lumley.
In the ten-second clip, the book initially covers Michelle’s face before the camera pulls out to show the Our Girl star all made-up in a car as she beamed with excitement.
They captioned the post: “Exciting news: @michellekeegan will star in FOOL ME ONCE, a new thriller based on the book by @harlancoben. The limited series also stars @richardcarmitage, @adeelakhtar and Joanna Lumley! Coming soon to Netflix,”
And it didn’t take long before her loyal flock of fans showered her comments section with compliments online.
One user penned: “Here we go so excited to watch this you little star @michellekeegan a super star [four heart emojis].”
Another gushed: “Ordering the book now [praise emoji] this is very exciting I love @harlancoben books and the TV adaptations [heart emoji].”
