Michelle Keegan has said she has been 'humbled' after heading back to work following her lavish trip to Dubai. The former Coronation Street actress was among the famous faces who jetted off to the city in the United Arab Emirates for the grand opening of a plush new hotel.
She and her husband Mark Wright headed to the iconic landmark Atlantis The Royal for its grand opening last week, which featured a show-stopping performance from Beyonce, her first live appearance in more than four years and an event hosted by Kendall Jenner for her 818 tequila, alongside fellow celebrity couple Rochelle and Marvin Humes.
Posting a video of their short but very sweet trip to Dubai earlier this week, Michelle could be seen flashing her taut abs in a tiny floral crop top, teamed with a matching maxi skirt with a thigh-high split detail as she strolled around the sun-soaked city. She later slipped out of her summer ensemble and into a white robe back at the stunning hotel.
She also shared photos of her and her husband Mark, who shot to fame on The Only Way is Essex, posing on the red carpet outside the hotel as they gathered for its opening. Michelle, who played Tina McIntyre in ITV's Corrie looked stunning in a thigh-skimming red dress that boasted a plunging neckline which she wore matching long red gloves.
The 35-year-old carried a bright gold clutch bag as she posed for the camera beside Mark, also 35, who had also pulled out all the stops and looked dapper in a black suit and bow tie. In Michelle's video, Mark could be seen planting a kiss on his wife's cheek before they watched Beyonce and witnessed a grand firework display over the new hotel.
"What dreams are made," she captioned the video. "Thank you @atlantistheroyal for inviting us to the grand opening of your new hotel. A weekend that’s going to be embedded in my mind forever. SO grateful," she added before confirming she had been able to attend the big event as a PR stay.
But after landing back in the UK it was back to work for Michelle as she continued filming for Sky Comedy, Brassic. Taking to her Instagram Story, the former soap star recorded her surroundings as she arrived at her trailer. Vans and trailers could be seen parked up around a muddied and puddle-filled site. "I've been well and truly humbled," Michelle captioned the video.
It comes after the Stockport-born star was snapped on Friday (January 27) filming in a suburban street in Sale. And Michelle, who plays Erin in the show, looked decidedly chilly but also stunning dressed in knee-length boots, a mini-skirt and a fluffy blue jacket.
Michelle and co-star Joanna Higson, who plays Sugar in the hit show, were even spotted jumping up and down in between takes in an effort to keep warm during the outdoor filming as temperatures struggled to top 5C. And Michelle was obviously feeling the change from her previous weekend.
