Michelle Keegan joked about what she should have packed for her latest work trip as she swapped her recent Australian escapades for Blackpool. The actress, from Stockport, has been back on home soil for a little while now after heading Down Under to film an exciting new BBC drama.
But upon her return to the UK, as well as moving into her new dream home with husband Mark Wright after two years of major renovations, Michelle was also back filming another series of Brassic. The former Coronation Street star has appeared on the Sky comedy from the very beginning as Erin Croft.
The show - also starring This Is England’s Joe Gilgun and Coronation Street youngster Jude Riordan - was originally released in 2019 and the gang burst back onto screens with series four just in September. But its full steam ahead with the next series and Michelle has been spotted multiple times back up north filming for the popular show.
And it's fair to say it was much different from her recent filming experience in Australia as Michelle, who starred as Tina McIntyre in ITV's Corrie, Michelle Keegan looked soaked as she filmed on Blackpool beach late on Tuesday night (November 1).
The brunette beauty looked sodden as torrential rain nearly brought filming to a halt. In pictures, Michelle, 35, can be seen running across the beach with a torch in hand as her and the gang search for a missing friend who has disappeared in the waves. She could be seen donning a pair of skinny black trousers and a skin-tight top which had been covered by a puffa gillet.
She pounded the sand in a pair of chunky black boots while her hair flung around her face in the wet and windy weather. There were moments of relief for the show's leading star as she covered up in a huge khaki jacket in between takes. In one picture she could be seen having a giggle as she hid her hands in her layers of clothing.
She also appeared to be doing her best to keep warm, moving around with her arms crossed and her hair partially being kept out of her way in a ponytail and with a patterned silk scarf.
Taking to Instagram earlier in the day, Michelle shared a video to her Story showing her battling the elements. Her locks were getting in her face as she tried to keep dry under an umbrella being held by a member of the crew.
"Filming in Blackpool in November..." she typed before jokingly adding: "Bring a bikini." But things did get better for the former soap star. She shared a picture of the Blackpool Tower lit up in all its glory from the pier as the waves crashed up againt the walls while the tide was in.
Shen then shared a follow-up post, showing her holding on to a 'Love Hearts Dip' in front of a claw machine at the arcades. "Nostalgia," she simply typed as she made the most of being at the seaside resort.
It's a far cry from how Michelle spent a recent weekend. Last month, Michelle didn't let the damp Manchester weather effect her mood - or her outfit - after she headed out to test out the city centre's new celebrity hotspot. She looked sensational for the outing as she headed to Manchester's newest opening, MNKY HSE, with a group of pals.
The glitzy new bar, restaurant and club opened its doors for the first time last week and has already welcomed through its large embellished doors on Lloyd Street footballers, reality stars and fashionistas. This is only the brand's second venue in the UK but is known for pulling in an A-list crowd at its London, Doha and Riyadh outposts.
And it appears Michelle was keen to check it out. She was snapped full of smiles as she made her way to the new opulent underground venue and she didn't seem to mind the drop in temperatures as she showed off her incredible figure by donning a silver corset top with a low-cut neckline.
The former Our Girl favourite paired the eye-catching top, which featured plenty of string details, with a pair of bootleg black trousers which just hid a pair of black open-toe heels. Michelle wrapped up for the evening in a black blazer which she wore just hanging over her shoulder and accesorised with silver choker necklaces and a matching sparkling bag.
