Michelle Keegan has found herself forced to hit back in a rare social media outburst after her latest clothing venture came under fire. The actress stunned her fans this week when she shared her latest string of modelling shots for her new clothing range with Very.
Stockport-born Michelle wowed as she showed fans some of the items from the range for the first time on Instagram, telling her followers she 'loves' the summer season, alongside the images of the looks that will be available to buy on veryuk.
One of the outfits the former Coronation Street star could be seen modelling featured a denim waistcoat, which was paired with denim jeans. In the snap, Michelle appeared to be lounging in the back of a car with a luxe cream leather interior as she gave her best look toward the camera while a black and white scarf tied in her hair rested over her shoulder.

In another, the former soap star, who plays Tina McIntyre in the ITV soap from 2008 to 2014, slipped into a figure-hugging sleeveless striped purple dress before also showcasing a black and white striped sleeveless top that had been tucked into a white pencil skirt and paired with some black heels as Michelle posed up against a flashy car.
Captioning the string of gorgeous images to her 6.6 million followers, Michelle wrote: "If you know me you’d know I LOVE Summer, this is why I’ve been sooo excited for my new Summer collection to drop. Here is it. Has anyone got any exciting summer trips planned?"
But among the excited comments and numerous compliments from many of her fans, there was one person who seemed less than impressed and wrote in the comments: "You need to show this collection on a real size woman not a size 6."
And the message clearly caught 36-year-old Michelle's eyes as she typed back in response: "You need to get off my page and stop writing such ignorant and offensive comments."
However, it didn't need there as the original commenter was unperturbed by her response and asked: “How was that offensive ? Nice collection but like to see it on someone that's not a size 6”. And Michelle replied: "Thank you for your comment. But I believe every woman any shape or size is a ‘real’ woman x."
And Michelle was praised for her response. @sarahlewseykamal replied: "Well said." @cathylbennett echoed: "Well said. Any size is still a real woman. Can’t believe someone could write something so ignorant! You look stunning in your collection and your collection is stunning."
@susanbyrne1957 commented: "Absolutely darling this woman sounds like a very jealous person." @msanselmo8 shared: "What’s a real woman? Women come in all sizes. How insulting."
Meanwhile, her celebrity pals and followers were quick to gush over the collection. Mother-in-law and former TOWIE star Carol Wright said: "You know your mum in law is your number 1 fan." Former Corrie co-star Catherine Tyldesley commented: "Fit fit fit." Actress Faye Marsay replied: "Babe of babetown."
