Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright defended by fans after giving glimpse inside stunning mansion

Fans have jumped to Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright's defence as they gave a glimpse inside their stunning mansion. The couple finally moved into their huge abode, said to be worth £3.5m, in September last year after two years worth of extensive renovation work.

Michelle and Mark, both 35, took fans along with them on the journey of creating their dream home away from actress Michelle's northern roots. It came after the couple, who married in 2015, bought the property in October 2019 before they began knocking it down in July 2020 to rebuild their own Georgian-style mansion.

After a few months of settling into the property, the former Coronation Street favourite and ex-TOWIE star spent their first Christmas in their new home and showed off their epic festive display that fans likened to something out of Home Alone.

But with the festivities well and truly out the way, Mark and Michelle have been giving fans more of an insight into the sprawling abode and showed off their scandi-style interiors including neutral toned colour scheme, modern sculptures and intricate light fittings.

Alongside a string of snaps, Mark on their @wrightyhome Instagram page wrote: "Here we go as promised, some interiors. We wanted to use a company that could supply the majority of stuff, allowing us to get everything through the same company for ease reasons."

"@olivias.uk had everything and more, moreover, totally to our taste. Here are some of our fave products," the post added. But despite the explanation, some were unimpressed by the decision to bring a company in to decorate the home.

@katrinasbell1978 wrote: "In our home we have ornaments we’ve collected on holidays over the years, things that are personal to us. NOT someone coming in and styling our house to look like a show house." @annabel_joy_lee asked: "Where is the individuality?? Your own stamp… will date in a year. So of the now. But if you like it that’s all that counts."

Others, however, were wowed by the look of the home, saying it was 'stunning' and 'tasteful'. Meanwhile, some decided to defend the couple from the negative comments. @rose91xx wrote: "These comments. Beautiful home and as stated to 'YOUR' taste. There really are some over opinionated jealous people out here man. Stay safe people."

@mobromwell1377 added: "A beautiful home that you both have worked very hard for. I can’t believe some of the comments on here. What is wrong with people? You have opened up your beautiful home for people to see and all they do is b***h!! You have your home exactly how you want it. The colour scheme is what you wanted. The furniture looks amazing exactly how you want it. Moaning people get a life don’t comment if you have nothing nice to say just go and sit in your brightly coloured un - staged messy house and be quiet."
