Former ESPN host Michelle Beadle appeared to accidently use the N-word in a live slip-up during FanDuel TV’s “Run It Back” broadcast. The racial slur was said in the middle of a segment with co-hosts and former NBA players Lou Williams and Chandler Parsons.

During the “You Buyin That” segment, Beadle was shifting topics from the Brooklyn Nets’ Ben Simmons to the Denver Nuggets and a recent comment from Michael Porter Jr.
However, instead of saying “Nuggets,” she appeared to accidently say the racially charged N-word, then turned toward Williams and Parsons after they both reacted and said, “Don’t try to get me on that.”
After Beadle attempted to continue the segment and asked Williams for his thoughts on Denver’s current core of players, Williams responded, “I’m buying. I’m buying. Beadle, you gonna be in trouble today.”

“That’s not fair,” Beadle said. “It’s not even a thing. It’s not even a word.”
Beadle addressed the slip-up in an Instagram Story on Saturday.
“The moment you say ‘Nuggets’ incorrectly on television and your entire career flashes … while your cohosts die,” she wrote. “Broadcasting students: slow down. And enunciate.”
FanDuel called the incident a “gaffe”
In response, FanDuel called the incident a “gaffe,” and referred to Beadle’s Instagram Story.
As the three attempted to continue the broadcast, the trio couldn’t help but talk about what Beadle said.
Beadle commented, “I don’t like hearing that, though,” then Parson added, “We didn’t like hearing [that].” Beadle then replied, “shut up,” prompting the trio to start laughing.
“I’m sweating,” said Parsons, who spent nine years in the NBA before retiring in 2020.
“You coming in the club, I got you,” Williams said.
“Ain’t nobody gonna say nothing.” “Now I’m sweating,” Beadle said, ending the comical segment.
Beadle worked for ESPN from 2009-12 and from 2014-19, hosting multiple shows during her tenures. Beadle and Parsons joined FanDuel TV in 2022.
Williams, a three-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year winner, signed a contract with the network last year.
