Michail Antonio has described Liverpool star Mohamed Salah as a 'joke of a player' after the Egyptian secured his third Golden Boot.
Salah was also awarded with the Playmaker award at the end of the Premier League season after beating Liverpool team-mate Trent Alexander-Arnold to the most assists in a single season.
And while West Ham United forward Antonio believes Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-Min, who shared the Golden Boot award with the Reds' No.11, has had a more impressive season, he was still full of praise for a player regarded as one of the best in the world.
Antonio said on the Footballer's Football Podcast : "Obviously, Mo Salah is an absolute joke, for him to be on 100 goals after not being in the Premier League for that long, what he has done is a massive achievement and he is absolutely quality.
"You can’t take that away from him, but if I had to pick one player it would be Son and then I’d have Salah just behind him as an attacking player."
Salah has the chance to move himself deeper into Liverpool history tonight as he looks to help the Reds win the Champions League like he did back in 2019 with his opening penalty against Son's Tottenham in Madrid.
