Michael 'Venom' Page gets outrageous flying knee finish at Bellator Dublin as James Gallagher wins on home soil

Michael ‘Venom’ Page got back on track with an emphatic victory over Richard Kiely at Bellator Dublin.

MVP’ came up short against world-level opposition last time out, caught with a devastating KO from Douglas Lima at Bellator 221 in May.

It was the first defeat of his career and cost him a shot against current world champion Rory MacDonald.

But the Londoner bounced back in devastating fashion in the Irish capital on Friday, outclassing his opponent from the opening bell before stopping Kiely with a remarkable flying knee finish to add to his extensive highlight reel.

In the card’s headline fight, James Gallagher extended his professional record to 10-1 after beating Roman Salazar in front of a raucous home crowd.

It took the bantamweight prospect less than 30 seconds to force Salazar to submit via guillotine choke.

The Tyrone native dominated Salazar, who took the fight on a week’s notice after original opponent Cal Ellenor was forced to withdraw due to injury.

Earlier on the show, Peter Queally recovered from a first round knockdown to secure a second round TKO win over Ryan Scope.

UFC superstar and Dubliner Conor McGregor was watching on from ringside and the victory prompted the former featherweight and lightweight champion to try and climb the cage to celebrate with his SBG teammate before security intervened.
