Forget Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan and whoever the lady is on the left of this picture (sorry, no idea). From a style perspective, last night’s mummy-porn premiere was all about Michael Stipe. The Guardian’s Fashion team spotted the REM frontman at the Louis Vuitton autumn/winter menswear show in Paris in January, and here he is swathed in a lovely piece of kit from that collection. Fashion nerds may have spotted that the blanket’s pattern is the rope print created by late, cult London designer Christopher Nemeth, the inspiration for the show – although you don’t need an MA from Central Saint Martins to recognise that this is a gorgeous scarf. Extra points to Stipe for his dramatic drama teacher wrapping technique.
