Pascal Struijk will miss Leeds United's home clash against Manchester United at Elland Road on Sunday due to a concussion. The Dutchman was forced off after only 15 minutes when he sustained a head injury from blocking a Marcus Rashford shot.
Leeds caretaker boss Michael Skubala has confirmed that the medical staff are following the concussion protocol rules and says it's the right decision for Struijk not to play.
"The long-term injuries are progressing well. They are the same," Skubala said in his pre-match press conference.

"Pascal [Struijk] has got concussion. So the medical team are following the concussion protocol so he will miss the game on Sunday which is the right decision."
Club captain Liam Cooper and midfielder Marc Roca were absent from the squad for Leeds' 2-2 draw against Man United at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
Luis Sinisterra was also replaced after picking up an injury in midweek. Skubala has confirmed that all three players are still being assessed and Leeds will make a late on their fitness levels.
"Liam [Cooper] and Marc [Roca] we are still assessing and we'll see if we can get them involved on Sunday. So that's taking a bit of time. Luis [Sinisterra] is a slightly different injury. We think he'll be ok but we're still going to assess whether it will be too early for him on Sunday," Skubala added.
"[They are] just some slight muscle injuries. For me, it's about protecting players first and foremost. We don't want to take any risks with any players. This is a long season and we need to look after them."
Elsewhere, Rodrigo (ankle); Archie Gray (toe); Adam Forshaw (groin), and Stuart Dallas (leg) all remain sidelined for Leeds.
