Michael Skubala has heaped praise on Leeds United duo Weston McKennie and Tyler Adams for their "great partnership" during the 2-2 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
Leeds will go head-to-head with Erik ten Hag's side once again on Sunday afternoon as Man United make the trip to Elland Road for the reverse Premier League fixture. Willy Gnonto got the Whites off to the perfect start in mid-week with a goal after 55 seconds, before Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho cancelled out a Raphael Varane own goal to see the points shared.
McKennie made his first Premier League start for Leeds during the match and it was the first time fans got a glimpse of the potential partnership between himself and compatriot Adams. The two Americans were solid in midfield and gave the travelling support plenty to look forward to for the rest of the season.

And speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the second game against Man United, Skubala revealed that he was not surprised with the level of performance he saw from the Leeds pair.
"Very encouraging, very talented players," Skubala said when asked about Adams and McKennie's midfield partnership. "When we made that decision [to play them together], that was part of the thinking that we know they know each other and they have a great partnership on and off the pitch.
"We knew, well we hoped, that they would play as well as they did together. We hope that we have good performances from all of the players again, but a lot of thought went into that decision."
