Football star Michael Owen has given his verdict on his daughter Gemma's appearance on Love Island.
Gemma, 19, is a contestant on the ITV dating show and has already been making headlines after viewers raised concerns about the age gap between her and Italian stallion Davide Sanclimenti, 27.
A number of people declared they felt uncomfortable about the two growing close after Gemma kissed Davide in a drinking game on their first night in the show.

Love Island fans weren't entirely sure if Davide was even aware of the eight-year gap between him and Gemma but they ended up chatting about it on Thursday's show.
Now, her dad Michael has given his views about the programme and confessed it was difficult to watch his daughter share a bed with someone.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, he said: "Luckily for me, there was no physical contact. Gemma had her back to the guy.
"There was space between them. I thought, 'Good girl'. No father wants to see physical contact, do they? I certainly don’t.
"If there is physical contact I think I’ll be throwing something at the screen. I don’t want to see kissing. Do not make me see kissing!".
He went on to say Gemma was a "sensible girl" and wouldn't do anything that would "make us ashamed". Talking about her age, he said she "has had two years more than I had to get ready for life in the public eye".
He told the Daily Mail: "Also, she’s a mature 19. She’s a bit like me in that regard. I was playing for Liverpool when I was 17, and having to make friends with 23, 24, 25-year-olds. The bottom line is, she’s an adult and I have to trust her to make sensible decisions."
