Michael Owen shares snap with rarely-seen daughter Emily in Dubai on her birthday

Former footballer Michael Owen has shared a rare snap of his daughter Emily as he celebrated her 15th birthday.

The Owen family are currently enjoying a luxury family vacation in Dubai, which includes eldest daughter Gemma Owen and her Love Island partner Luca Bish.

Doting dad Michael, 42, took time out to share a snap with daughter Emily amid her birthday celebrations and said she was his "pride and joy".

Emily is Michael's third child with childhood sweetheart Louise Bonsall. The pair are also parents to Gemma (19), James (16) and Jessica (12). The family live together in a £4m mansion in Chester.

As the family and friends enjoy a luxury trip in Dubai, dad Michael shared the sweet birthday tribute via his Instagram.

In the snap Michael posed with daughter Emily in front of the Dubai skyline, as he wrote: "Happy Birthday @emily.0wen10 You’re my pride and joy. X".

Dad-of-four Michael opted for an all black ensemble including a Balmain T-shirt as he smiles for the camera alongside daughter Emily, who rocked a pink bodycon dress and strappy heels.

Fans have been quick to share their own birthday wishes for Emily and to praise Michael on his beautiful family.

One fan wrote: "Stunning birthday girl xxxx. You’re surrounded by beautiful girls Michael how lucky are you? X".

Another added: "That such a lovely and beautiful photo."

A third commented: "Happy Birthday Emily x @themichaelowen u got a stunning family x".

This isn't the first snap dad Michael has shared from his luxury trip. He's also shared a family snap of the full clan, including eldest daughter Gemma and her Love Island beau Luca.

The pair have been plagued with "showmance" rumours and allegations suggesting that they have been putting on a front for the cameras but this doesn't seem to be the case.

The rumours were further sparked by fellow Islander Paige Thorne, who recently suggested that only two couples who left the show this year are actually in a relationship, insinuating the others are simply staging their romance for work purposes.
