Michael Owen has broken his silence after his beloved daughter Gemma, 19, returned to the family mansion after her summer stint on the ITV2 dating show - and her beau Luca Bish was nowhere to be seen.
The football hero, who had remained tight-lipped about his daughter's Love Island antics until now - after previously admitting that he begged her not to appear on the popular reality TV show - welcomed Gemma back with open arms after she spent over ten weeks in the famous Love Island villa.
And Michael couldn't be any happier to have his eldest daughter home as the pair cuddled up together during a family reunion party at their £4 mansion.
Taking to Instagram, the football legend gushed over Gemma as he insisted that it was good to have her back in the sprawling family home - just days after she and Luca became embroiled in a public fallout following their departure from the villa after the pair came second, falling behind winners Ekin-Su and Davide.
The sweet snap saw the father-daughter duo cuddle up together on a yellow Love Island themed bean bag as they enjoyed some celebratory drinks.
Gemma beamed in the snap alongside her famous dad as she appeared to put her troubles with Luca to the side for the exciting family party.
It comes after lovebirds Gemma and Luca appeared to fall out when leaving the TV studio just a few days ago after reuniting with their fellow villa housemates.
The couple were seen leaving together but it looked as though there was some tension as Gemma stormed ahead and Luca followed behind as they made their way to their London hotel.
Luca went on to admit to a photographer that there could be trouble in paradise already despite leaving the villa less than a week ago.
Gemma was trying to keep a low profile as Luca trailed behind her.
Sensing some tension between the lovebirds, a photographer quipped to Luca: "You've got your hands full there!"
As Luca replied: "Oh don't mate! She's got the right hump with me!"
It's not known what the pair could have fallen out about or whether it will be included in the Love Island reunion show tonight.
