Michael Obafemi's switch from Swansea City to Burnley will officially be made permanent in the summer, WalesOnline understands.
The striker joined the Clarets from the Swans during the January transfer window on an initial loan deal.
However, it was always expected that the Republic of Ireland international's move to Turf Moor would be made permanent following the conclusion of the 2022/23 season due to the terms included in the deal.

And it's understood that, following Burnley's promotion back into the Premier League, Obafemi is now guaranteed to become a Clarets player on a permanent basis in the summer, meaning his Swans career is officially over.

Former Swan Connor Roberts - who made four loan appearances for Boro during the 2017/18 campaign - netted the winner for the Lancashire outfit at the Riverside Stadium.
Obafemi has netted twice in 10 appearances since joining Burnley in the opening month of the year.
