Michael Obafemi says he prayed for his move to Burnley.
The Ireland striker has finally secured his switch from Swansea, on-loan until the end of the season when the transfer will be made permanent.
Obafemi had hoped to move last summer, but was blocked from doing so by the Swans.

He said: “I’ve almost manifested it, praying and hoping it happens. It has and I’m just thankful, I can’t wait to play at Turf Moor in the Claret and Blue.”
The 22-year-old cannot wait to start working with Burnley boss Vincent Kompany - and to help spearhead their promotion bid.
They are five points clear at the top of the Championship and 17 ahead of third place.
“It’s good to be here, it’s been a busy few days but I’m glad it’s finally done and that I’m here in Claret and Blue,” said Obafemi.
“When Burnley first came about in the summer, I was adamant to go then, but it didn’t happen.
“Everything happens for a reason and I think now was the right time for me to come.
“I’m just happy that I’m here so that I can help the team push for promotion and get back to where they belong.
“I feel like I fell in love with the way they played when I first saw them against Huddersfield.
“It was amazing to watch, and from that day I couldn’t take my mind off it. To be part of this is special.
“I’m just looking forward to it, I’m absolutely buzzing.”
Obafemi admitted that he would have been “an idiot” to turn down the chance to join Kompany’s side.
“The project he’s built or, or he’s building, is phenomenal. I see myself being a part of this project, and I’m happy I am a part of it now,” he said,
“I’d be an idiot not to come here. Look at the career he’s had, I can learn so much off him and all the staff here. I feel like this was the right step in my career.
“It’s been a difficult few months but now I’m here, I need to work hard. I need to get myself in the team ultimately.
“Just because I’m here, it doesn’t mean I’m going to play every game. I need to work hard and show him why he signed me.”
Obafemi is looking forward to linking up again with his former Southampton teammate Nathan Tella and current Ireland pal Josh Cullen.
“Me and Nathan go a long way back,” he said. “When I left Southampton, we thought we’d never play with each other again and now we have the chance too.
“It’s an amazing moment to play with one of my long-time friends. I spoke to him before I came here to ask him what it’s like, and he said I’d love it. He’s not wrong.
“Familiar faces like Josh and Nathan can give you an insight on what it’s like, and everything they said is true. It’s amazing here and I’m just happy to be here.”
