Michael McIntyre announces Newcastle date on new world tour

Bafta-winning comedian Michael McIntyre has announced a new world tour which will bring him to Newcastle in spring next year and he's promising something Magnificent.

The stand-up favourite will be taking to the road in 2024 on the back of previous sell-out tours which have broken box office records worldwide. And tickets will go on general sale this Friday here for the tour of new show Magnificent which will include a city date at Utilita Arena on March 16.

The arena says it is 'thrilled' at the news of the tour which marks five years from the comedian's last. McIntyre's previous tours have sold more than four million tickets and he has become a global name thanks to his unique brand of observational comedy, inspired by everyday situations that strike a universal chord.

His Big World Tour, which began in early 2017, visited more than 20 countries and culminated in Netflix special Showman. The star is also the host of two BBC hit shows, the Bafta-winning Michael McIntyre’s Big Show - currently in its sixth series - and The Wheel which he devised himself and also hosts for NBC in America.

Tickets to see 2024's Magnificent show in Newcastle will go on sale on February 17 at 10am. See here for tickets or the arena website here and email access@ticketmaster.co.uk for information about accessible bookings, which also can be made online.
