The family of a Co Fermanagh man whose body was recovered in Lough Erne on Saturday have thanked all those who contributed to the search for him.
A body was recovered on Saturday after hundreds joined emergency services in the search for Coa man Michael McGirr, who went missing on the Lough two weeks ago.
In a blog post published by his aunt Marie after Michael was found, the family said the community search efforts had shown them the good in people, despite the "unbelievably painful" loss.

“Despite the heartbreak, we are so, so grateful that the search is finally over and we have finally got him out of the cold water, soon to be in his final resting place,” his aunt wrote.
“The rainbow offered to those who loved Mac so much is the people who flocked to our side to help, offer support, pray, make food, walk and go out on the water on anything that floats to look for him.
“It has been truly so comforting that this whole community – not defined by borders or geography – have gathered around us.
“Whilst the loss is unbelievably painful, Mac has succeeded in showing us the good in people, the good in communities who stand together. He always believed in that, always loved it when people came together.”
The family paid tribute to all of those who helped with the search, including many who travelled from outside the local community and the emergency services.
"Bernie has asked me to thank everyone who so selflessly became involved in the search for Mac. There are too, too many to offer individual thanks to.
"There are another special group of people who Bernie also wishes to recognise and thank – the ones who deal with this type of trauma willingly, because it is their vocation in this life to help others.
"They come out each time there is a tragedy to help a family in need offering emotional and professional support."
Thousands of people joined a social media group to coordinate the search for Michael, known as ‘Mac’ to his friends and family.
Hundreds of messages of condolences were left on the Search for Michael McGirr Facebook page, including one which described him as a special character.
A funeral notice for Michael said funeral arrangements will be announced later.
