Michael Keane believes Everton should have beaten Nottingham Forest at the City Ground this afternoon.
The Premier League strugglers played out an entertaining 2-2 draw, Brennan Johnson scoring twice for Forest as they came from behind on two occasions to rescue a point in their fight for survival. For the Toffees, Demarai Gray and Abdoulaye Doucoure were on the scoresheet.
Defender Keane claimed Everton provided a "good response" following their 4-0 loss at leaders Arsenal in mid-week. The visitors had one less effort on target (3) than Forest, despite sharing the same attempts (10) overall.

Keane told BBC Sport: "I thought we played well, we looked a threat all game going forward and limited Nottingham Forest to very few chances.
"They were clinical when they had a couple and we could have done better for both goals that they scored. In general it was a good response to our midweek defeat at Arsenal.
"You could see energy in the team and we showed quality too. Everyone in the dressing room is disappointed not to come away with three points because I think we edged it.
"It is a step in the right direction."
