As the cast finish off the European leg of this landmark tour, they will make an exclusive appearance on the stage of the Clayton on Burlington Road, Ballsbridge to perform for the 400 guests present from the worlds of business, media and entertainment and the hardworking medics who devote their lives to helping people with Cystic Fibrosis.
Julian Benson said: “As everyone knows I am all about bringing the pizazz and sparkle to proceedings so I am beyond thrilled to announce that Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance troupe will be performing at this year’s Winter Wonderland Gala Ball!
“This truly is a not-to-be-missed performance, and I am so grateful to Michael, Niamh, all the cast and crew of Lord of the Dance for their support on what is set to be a very special and important night for the Julian Benson CF Foundation, so thank you from the bottom of my heart - no one can do cha-cha-boom quite like you do!”
Organisers said the addition of Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance is the icing on the cake of a stellar line-up of entertainment at Winter Wonderland Gala Ball.
Award-winning percussion ensemble Extreme Rhythm Dancers, Fly Youth Dance Company, aerial artist Lisette Krol, Galway City Chamber Choir, Bello Duo and The Honeydews will also perform on the night.
There will also be an injection of 1950s glamour on the night with a dance performance from The Blonde Bombshell – a reflection of the life of Hollywood superstar Marilyn Monroe.
Benson, one of Ireland’s leading talent agents and choreographers, is ‘delighted’ to bring back this annual event after its two-year hiatus during the pandemic.
