Michael Conlan suffered defeat to Luis Alberto Lopez in their world title showdown in Belfast on Saturday night.
The Mexican successfully defended his IBF world featherweight title as Conlan suffered the second defeat of his career in devastating fashion.
The opening two rounds were close before Lopez really started to hurt the challenger in the third, landing some massive punches.

Things slowed down slightly in the fourth before Conlan was caught with a huge right which sent him flying to the floor in the fifth. The referee was about to start counting when the towel came in from Adam Booth in Conlan's corner.
The Belfast man has enjoyed some brilliant nights in his hometown since turning professional and had hoped that this one would top the lot.
But it wasn't to be and it adds a second defeat to Conlan's professional CV after his heartbreaking defeat to Leigh Wood in 2022 when he was knocked through the ropes in the final round of the contest.
But it was a successful evening for a number of Irish fighters as Dubliner Pierce O'Leary enjoyed a brilliant first round victory over Romania's Alin Florin Ciorceri earlier in the evening.
The Dubliner knocked his opponent down just 45 seconds into the bout with a thunderous left hook.
Ciorceri got back to his feet but never recovered and referee Victor Loughlin was forced to stop the bout as O'Leary landed some massive shots on the Romanian.
O'Leary, who was defending his WBC International Junior Welterweight Title, will now aim to win a European belt before the end of the year, and hopes to fight in Dublin soon.
Irish Olympian Kurt Walker took his professional record to 7-0 with victory over Colombian Maicol Velazco in the featherweight division.
And the home crowd were celebrating again after Belfast native Anthony Cacace won via unanimous decision against Poland's Damian Wrzesinski, with the judges scoring the bout 116-112,117-111 and 118-111.
There were also victories for Dubliner Willo Hayden and Belfast's Conor Quinn.
