During a recent court hearing, Michael Cohen, a former attorney for Donald Trump, stated that he did not alter the audio recording of his conversation with Trump on his cell phone. When questioned about any modifications to the recording, Cohen firmly denied making any changes.
Cohen explained that he willingly handed over two cell phones to the district attorney's office in 2023. He mentioned that he provided the phones on separate occasions because he was only aware of the location of one phone and had to locate the other.
However, defense attorney Emil Bove raised concerns about the credibility of the data retrieved from Cohen's phones when it was presented by a district attorney employee. Bove suggested that there was a possibility that the phones submitted to the DA's office might have been tampered with, casting doubt on the integrity of the evidence.
