Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen has revealed that he not only spoke with the special counsel's office but also met with the New York attorney general's office and the district attorney's office. Cohen disclosed that he engaged in discussions with the district attorney's office for the first time while he was still serving his sentence.
During his interactions with the authorities, Cohen testified before the grand jury and was granted immunity. He sought a reduction in his sentence from a federal judge and requested the district attorney's office to provide a letter attesting to his cooperation.
