Michael Bublé confirms second Newcastle date as tour tickets go on sale

Michael Bublé fans in the North East are no doubt Feeling Good - probably great - right now as the star confirms a second date for the city on his new Higher tour.

Hot on the heels of news of the 2023 tour, the Canadian star followed up by announcing extra shows just as the tickets for it went on sale this Friday. It now means that he will perform a second date at Utilita Arena in Newcastle.

The first show there, on May 1, was revealed earlier this week and the Feeling Good and Just Haven't Met You Yet singer had now also added May 2. In all, his eight-venue tour has been extended by six new dates, to also include London, Manchester, Glasgow, Nottingham and Birmingham.

Higher celebrates a 20-year milestone since his debut album for Grammy Award-winner Bublé whose continued success has seen him become a member of the O2's 21 Club - meaning he has played the London venue a remarkable 21 times - and recently wrap up a sell-out two-year international tour.

Over the years his North East dates have proved a huge hit. Most recently he played Chester-le-Street cricket ground where he told fans at the summer show how he thought of the region as "my home from home" - and joked that local fans had a drinking problem.

His said of his Higher tour: "I can’t wait to be back in arenas across the UK - it's going to be true arena spectacle! I'm so excited for people to experience it.

"A lot of my fans have been part of my journey for the past 20 years, so to celebrate this milestone with everyone together is going to be extra special. I just want to connect to them, take them away, spread some goodness. That's it!" For tickets to the Newcastle shows see here. And here's the full line-up of tour dates.
