Michael Bublé, famously the figure behind many modern-day holiday classics, had (perhaps unintentionally) set an expectation that his Christmas decorations were as iconic as his songs – and of course, he didn't disappoint. His secret to success? A palette of red, white, and green – a timeless trio best seen on his Christmas tree.
Bublé and actress Luisana Lopilato turned their entire open-plan living room into a cozy Christmas grotto – complete with a textured red throw over their white sofa and a garland across their shelving. However, nothing sets the standard quite like their tree. 'One family I worked with used deep burgundy accents with gold, which gave their traditional decor a fresh feel while still feeling cozy. For others, sticking with monochrome palettes or neutrals creates a calmer atmosphere, especially if they want their holiday setup to blend seamlessly with their usual decor.'

'Some traditions in holiday decorating seem to stick no matter how trends shift. A tree is a centerpiece for most homes, but it’s not just about putting one up – it’s about how it’s dressed,' Stringer says.
'A well-decorated tree with a cohesive theme, like soft metallic ornaments mixed with touches of nature, creates an understated yet elegant feel. Adding dried orange slices or cinnamon sticks not only looks great but smells amazing, too. Families I’ve worked with have told me they loved this idea because it brought a sense of tradition into their new homes without feeling overdone.'
