Michael Beale says he would no have no doubts about working with Steven Gerrard again after their time together at Rangers.
The pair helped bring the Premiership title back to Govan in 2021 before leaving last November for Aston Villa. It's been a contrasting 11 months for the pair though after Gerrard initially brought Beale to Birmingham with him to be his assistant manager. While the former Ibrox boss has been sacked by the Villans, his former right-hand-man is now flying at QPR.
He left Villa in the summer to make his way as his own man after time coaching at Liverpool, Sao Paulo and Rangers, success in a short space of time attracting attention from Premier League side Wolves. Beale says he had to remain committed to his project in London that has them pushing for EPL promotion, telling the Daily Telegraph : "Ultimately, I just didn't want the upheaval to the club, to myself or to the people that I've asked to come here.

"It would be a kick in the nuts to the owners if, after just three months, I was off and leaving. I don't think the project we're building here is stable enough now to have taken that hit."
There wasn't enough attraction for him to jump ship to a side struggling at England's elite level, and he's recently left one in a similar predicament.
It didn't give him any satisfaction to see his old Rangers pal struggle after his exit, as the answer was short but clear on whether he'd work with Gerrard again: "100%."
