Rangers new manager Michael Beale has pledged to give everything for the fans as he insisted they are "the most important part" of the club.
The 42-year-old was first team coach under Steven Gerrard but has left Queens Park Rangers after just six months to become Light Blues boss, signing a three-and-a-half year deal to secure a dream return to the Scottish Premiership. He takes over from Gio van Bronckhorst with the club trailing Celtic by nine points in the table with the league on hiatus.
Beale, who recently knocked back English Premier League outfit Wolves, will take charge of his first competitive game in the Scottish Premiership clash with Hibs for his first competitive game after the World Cup winter break on December 15. And he has thrown down the gauntlet to the Rangers players to entertain the supporters when the league resumes.
Giving a message to the fans via Rangers TV, Beale said: "You are the most important part of this football club. It is important the player's understand that, the staff and everyone behind the scenes.
'We have to win for you. That's what we come to work for every day. I want you to be excited about this team, and it's got to be exciting for the players to play in first.
"I look forward to reconnecting with you all. I have seen all the messages and support you have given me previously with this club. Now I am returning i can't wait to get back out there and winning games and trophies for you."
