Rangers boss Michael Beale has moved to draw a line under his row with Celtic legend Chris Sutton following the win over Livingston.
The former Parkhead hero provoked the ire of the Rangers boss after questioning if he would have allowed Ange Postecoglou's side to score as he did with Partick Thistle following Malik Tillman's controversial Scottish Cup goal. Beale, who refused to name the former Hoops' striker, described Sutton as a “comedy act” and the “worst ever player” to turn out for his boyhood heroes Chelsea during his pre-match press conference.
Sutton then took aim at the boss branding him "thin skinned" and in his latest Record Sport column admitted he was left Googling Beale's playing career after the swipe from the Ibrox boss. After the convincing 3-0 Scottish Premiership victory over Livingston the Londoner was put on the spot about the latest barb aimed at him from the Celtic fan favourite.
Asked if he heard the latest dig, Beale responded: "No, I think we will leave that where it is. Listen, I love him as much as he loves me. Tell him that."
