Michael Beale has reportedly said no to becoming the new head coach of Premier League side Wolves, less than a year after being Rangers ' assistant manager
The QPR head coach guided his current club to the top of the English Championship on Wednesday night with an impressive 3-0 win over Cardiff City. Rumours had been swirling that the Molineux side had made him their number one target as boss and would approach the Loftus Road club for permission to hold talks, Beale having only becoming their manager in the summer.
But it is now claimed by the Telegraph that the former Rangers number two - who left Ibrox alongside Steven Gerrard last November - has said no to jumping at his first chance of leading a Premier League side. It backs up Beale's loyalty claim after he suggested that he'd turned down numerous chances to leave Glasgow earlier than he did.

He said: “When I was with Rangers I turned down seven or eight chances to be a manager. There are some things I look for.”
It is also claimed by The Telegraph that the 'compensation clause for any club wishing to appoint him was £1.2 million and there was no issue with Wolves meeting that price.'
Rangers have also been linked with making him their next boss when Giovanni van Bronckhorst departs but Beale has played those down.
