Michael Beale has put Rangers fans on alert over potential transfer business coming from Brazil this summer after sharing a snap on social media.
The Ibrox boss has taken recruitment matters into his own hands this summer after the departure of sporting director Ross Wilson to Nottingham Forest earlier this summer, and the rebuild has already started this summer with Kieran Dowell and Dujon Sterling snapped up for next season, with LA FC midfielder Jose Cifuentes and Man United loanee Jack Butland expected to follow in the coming weeks. However, many more new faces are expected to arrive following the high profile departures of Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Scott Arfield, Filip Helander and Allan McGregor.
The likes of Glen Kamara face uncertain futures, while decisions must be made on John Lundstram and Borna Barisic as they approach the final year of their contracts. As part of the revamp, the Light Blues' boss appears to have taken in a game in Brazil.
The Rangers boss shared a snap of himself enjoying a Caipirinha while appearing to be in the stands of a game in Brazil on Instagram - as he offered a glimpse at his notebook. The Londoner knows the Brazilian market well having spent time coaching at Sao Paolo.
One fan joked "he’s got us all on strings" while an impressed punter said "no time wasted on prep for next season." Another, however, attempted to debunk the theory that Beale was looking for new signings - pointing out that the view was limited from the snap. They chimed in: "It's a cocktail, he's sitting in a bar in London somewhere."
