MICHAEL BEALE has urged Rangers supporters to be patient as he bids to add the next two recruits to his squad in the coming days.
The Ibrox boss has brought seven players to Glasgow so far this summer as the likes of Jack Butland, Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers have put pen-to-paper.
Now Rangers are closing in on another two targets as striker Danilo and midfielder Jose Cifuentes get set to commit their futures to Rangers sooner rather than later.
Feyenoord striker Danilo will command a fee in the region of £5million, while a package has been put in place for Cifuentes after he agreed terms on a contract to leave Los Angeles FC.
Beale saw his side suffer a 3-1 home defeat to Olympiacos on Wednesday evening but was upbeat about where Rangers are and the reinforcements that will arrive ahead of the Premiership opener against Kilmarnock a week on Saturday.
Beale said: “I get that as soon as we play everyone wants it to look shiny and fantastic.
“We will be okay, we just need to keep moving in the right direction.
“I’m pleased. We needed a big change of players, we got them, and there are one or two incoming as well.
“It will all settle down when it is supposed to in ten days time. In pre-season ten days is a long time.
“Abdallah Sima was good tonight, Cyriel is finding his feet in terms of his fitness and I thought Sam was good again so I am really pleased with the new guys coming in.
“We need to be patient a little bit over the weekend. Don’t listen to stuff on the size of the fee or size of the salary.
“I will tell you it is nowhere near the size of both quoted but if you stay patient I am sure there will be some good news at the start of next week for everybody.”
