Michael Beale has provided a fitness update on his Rangers squad.
The Ibrox side host Aberdeen in their next Premiership fixture tomorrow afternoon.
They will be aiming for five wins on the bounce having won their last four without conceding a goal.
Kemar Roofe and Ridvan Yilmaz were both forced off through injury during the midweek 4-0 trouncing of Livingston in the Viaplay Cup.
And Beale has revealed that Roofe will be unavailable for Saturday's game, but is currently unsure of the severity of the striker's issue.
On the player, he said: "Yeah he's away for a scan, so no news on that one at the minute. He didn't train today with the rest of the team.
"Until we get the news back from the scan we don't really know what we're dealing with. Obviously, it's disappointing for Kemar because he came back into the team and did so well until the other night. Let's hope it is nothing too serious and that he'll be available in the short term rather than the long term.
"It's frustrating because he's a big player and such a very good player. It's hard because he's not been as available as he'd have liked for three managers, not just myself.
"It looked like he was in a really good place, he was contributing well, so let's hope he's just felt a niggle and come out. The right thing is to get a scan and he's up for that this afternoon."
He added: "Raskin is back with the rehab team. Dowell is back out in very light training.
"It is a busy schedule, we knew we would have to use the squad. Both teams coming into this game with the same packed schedule and recovery times."
Todd Cantwell, Nicolas Raskin, Tom Lawrence, Rabbi Matondo, and Danilo will all be out too. It's expected that it will be after the international break before any will be back involved with the first team.
After this weekend Rangers face a trip to Cyprus to take on Aris Limassol in the Europa League group stage.
Rangers won their opening group game 1-0 against Real Betis at Ibrox.
