Michael Beale has given Rangers fans even more news to worry about ahead of Celtic's visit to Ibrox after confirming that defender Ben Davies is set to remain on the sidelines ahead of the crunch clash.
The Gers fended off a resilient Aberdeen side at the weekend as they battled to a tough 1-0 victory at Ibrox, with Todd Cantwell's superb volley being the difference - although Celtic's win over Hearts meant that they could no longer catch their bitter rivals to the Scottish Premiership title.
With pride at stake in the latest instalment of the Old Firm derby - of which the Hoops have won the last three - Beale will need all the help he can get from his team, which starts with a fully fit side if he is to overcome Ange Postecoglou's men for the first time in his managerial stint in Govan. But he will be without Davies, who picked up an injury in the win over Barry Robson's side last weekend, and Ryan Kent, with the Englishman remaining sidelined.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Beale said: "Ben misses out this weekend, there are no changes from last weekend in terms of selection other than Ben missing out."
Beale then went on to tell reporters in his press conference: "Ryan (Kent) has not returned to training as still has an issue."
Davies' spell on the sidelines will likely mean that John Souttar stands in alongside Connor Goldson, with the latter's absence in the previous Old Firm league clash resulting in a calamity of errors to give Celtic a 3-2 win at Parkhead.
