Michael B Jordan confronts his 'high school tormentor' as she interviews him on red carpet

Michael B Jordan was left visibly unimpressed when he he came face-to-face with a woman who used to tease him at school on the red carpet.

Morning Hustle host Lore’l spoke to the actor on the red carpet at the Creed III premiere over the weekend, and things quickly turned awkward as the 36-year-old star called out his former schoolmate.

During a recent episode of her podcast, Undressing Room, Lore'l revealed that she had attended the same school as Michael, and admitted that she was keen to nab an interview with the actor on the red carpet of the movie premiere.

Lo and behold, as Michael made his way down the red carpet, his former school tormentor managed to grab his attention with their chat quickly taking a turn for the worst.

As it turns out, Michael had actually listened to Lore'l's podcast episode where she recalled how her friends would make fun of his name ‘because he was no Michael Jordan’.

During the explosive podcast episode, Lore'l further poked fun at Michael as she mocked his Valentine’s Day gift to his ex Lori Harvey, insisting that she wasn’t surprised at its extravagance because the star was ‘a nice, corny guy’.

At the time, the actor rented out an entire aquarium for the special surprise day out for Lori back in 2021.

"You know what’s so crazy? I went to school with Michael B Jordan at a point in life," she said on her podcast.

"And to be honest with you, we teased him all the damn time because his name was Michael Jordan. Let’s start there, and he was no Michael Jordan. And he also would come to school with a headshot.

"We lived in Newark, that’s the hood. We would make fun of him like, “What you gonna do with your stupid headshot!?” And now look at him."

Stopping her former schoolmate on the red carpet, she said: "We go way back, all the way back to Chad Science Academy in Newark."

To which Michael savagely replied: "Oh yeah, I was the corny kid, right? I heard it."

Following the awkward exchange, Lore'l tried to save herself by saying: "I said we used to make fun of the name. But yeah, well, you’re not corny anymore."

Following the awkward exchange, Michael's fans called out Lore'l for making the cruel comments about the actor.

"You called him corny. Now you gotta call him actor, director, superstar, hollywood mogul. Living legend. He took that sh** personally," one fumed.

Fans praised the actor for giving his former school bully 'the time of day' (YouTube/ The Morning Hustle)

"That's why you don't bully, tease or pick on people. Now she's working the red carpet at his movie premiere. A full circle moment that money can't buy tbh," another echoed.

"Lol he's a better man than me. I wouldn't have even given this bird the time of day. Acting like you didn't say the word, then admitting 'he's not corny anymore' confirms you DID bully him," someone else commented.

While a fourth added: "You called him corny, but you're the one who interviewing him not the other way around. I'm glad MBJ got the last laugh and you're a mean girl."
