Look, NFL opponents say hello and give respect to each other in the middle of games all the time. Of course, most of that happens after the whistle blows between plays, right?
This wasn’t the case, and it was during a fumble … in the middle of the Super Bowl.
Mic’d up video shows George Kittle blocking Kansas City Chiefs defensive end George Karlaftis before letting a “Hi, George!”
Problem is: Kittle has his back to the play. So Karlaftis spies that the ball is out and the whistle hasn’t blown and jumps on it.
