Mic’d-up video showed what Matthew Stafford and Joe Burrow said in their post-Super Bowl exchange

It would have been easy for Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow to simply head to the locker room after Sunday’s disappointing 23-20 loss to the Rams in Super Bowl 56. After all, the Bengals had the lead most of the second half and had their Super Bowl hopes end on a turnover on downs.

Burrow didn’t do that, though. He remained on the field until he caught up with Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Amid the on-field celebration, Stafford and Burrow shared an extended exchange. In the video that the NFL initially posted to Twitter, we couldn’t hear what was said between the two quarterbacks. But in recent mic’d-up footage from NFL Films, we can hear exactly what the conversation sounded like.
