Puka Nacua is only 12 games into his NFL career but he’s already become one of the easiest players to root for. He plays incredibly hard, puts up eye-popping numbers and his personality off (and on) the field is infectious.
His teammates love him and it’s not hard to see why. During the Rams’ win over the Browns on Sunday, Nacua casually brought up anime to Cooper Kupp in the huddle.
“Coop, why do I feel like you would like anime?” Nacua asked.
Immediately, Kupp shot down the idea.
Tutu Atwell seemed to agree with Nacua on the pro-anime premise, and Puka even tried to explain why Kupp would like it.
“He’s such, like, a thoughtful guy. Like, that’s what anime is,” Nacua said.
But Kupp made it clear that Nacua’s assumption was very far off.
“No. No. No, you were wrong,” he said laughing.
Guess not everyone is a fan of anime like @AsapPuka 🤷♂️🤣⁰ ⁰Watch #InsideTheNFL now on @TheCW pic.twitter.com/n18ZLQD68M

Now when it comes to scoring touchdowns, Kupp is a big fan. He was hyped to see Nacua break off a 70-yard score on Sunday, which the NFL Films crew captured on video.
"You're a G, keep going."
