The Tiger Woods “Big Dog” meme has been everywhere on social media in the past week, and now it’s transgressed over into the NFL.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was specifically obsessed with the meme as he found a way to greet many of his coaches and teammates with a handshake followed by him saying “Big Dog” on Saturday.
NFL Films luckily had Allen mic’d up during Buffalo’s 24–22 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, so fans got to see the various interactions. He was even captured saying “Big Dog” while he was sitting on the bench reviewing plays.
“I can’t wait to do this to everyone after the game,” Allen said at one point.
Big dog. 🤝

The now iconic phrase was fitting for Allen as he had a historic game on Saturday. Allen has 40 total touchdowns so far this season, meaning he is the first player in NFL history to reach this milestone in four consecutive seasons. It was also the 11th game this season in which he’s accounted for a rushing touchdown and a TD pass, which is also a new NFL record.
