On a rare Sunday morning occurrence in the NBA, Miami Heat introduced their newest acquisitions, Andrew Wiggins, Davion Mitchell, and Kyle Anderson, who arrived as part of the trade involving Jimmy Butler and the Golden State Warriors. The trio joined the team for their first practice session on Sunday and are expected to potentially make their Heat debut against the Boston Celtics on Monday.

Andrew Wiggins, a seasoned player in his 11th NBA season, was averaging 17.6 points per game for the Warriors before the trade. He has an impressive career average of 18.5 points over 749 games. Wiggins played a crucial role in the Warriors' 2022 NBA title win, being the second-best player in the finals series against Boston.

Davion Mitchell, the No. 9 pick in the 2021 draft, is known for his defensive prowess and is set to bring his skills to the Heat after stints with Sacramento and Toronto. Kyle Anderson, a versatile forward joining his fifth team, brings his experience and a career scoring average of 6.8 points to the Heat roster.

The new players were welcomed to the Heat culture during the annual Heat Gala, where they interacted with teammates, coaches, and staff. The trio also had the opportunity to witness team president Pat Riley's dance moves, setting the tone for their integration into the team.
