Mexico’s National Electoral Institute (INE) commenced its preliminary electoral results program (PREP) on Sunday night. The PREP system is designed to collect and display results from each polling location in the federal elections. This real-time system is expected to remain operational for 24 hours, concluding at 10 p.m. ET on Monday.
During the evening, an INE official mentioned that they would release results from the 'fast count,' a method aimed at providing citizens with prompt and accurate election outcome information. As of now, the INE has not officially declared the final results.
