Mets announcer zings absent Aaron Rodgers with a hilarious Pat McAfee joke

The whole Aaron Rodgers minicamp absence thing continues to make headlines as the New York QB continues to miss time for an unexcused absence, and now it’s made its way on to a baseball broadcast.

New York Mets play-by-play man Gary Cohen was having fun with Jets fan and SNY reporter Steve Gelbs, discussing the Rodgers “controversy.” Gelbs was very calm about the whole thing.

Then, Cohen asked where he thought Rodgers might be.

“Is he, like, under Pat McAfee’s couch or something?” Cohen said with a laugh.

“That might be the best possibility,” Gelbs replied.
