Funcom announced Metal: Hellsinger VR is launching this fall. This heavy metal Rhythm Shooter is going to be available for the PS VR2 along with the Meta Quest 2 & 3, and Meta Quest Pro. For those who can't wait to see what the game has to offer, there's no need to worry since a new demo of the game is now on Steam.
The demo features the brand-new lobby, which is an immersive new location where players can choose their level, music, and even loadout, to name a few. The demo also features Voke and Stygia, which are the two first missions in the game. It also includes four weapons which are:
- Paz
- The loyal and loquacious skull who's not afraid to sear enemies with fiery bolts.
- Terminus
- A wickedly agile sword.
- The Hounds
- A set of demonic twin pistols.
- Persephone
- A shotgun with a thunderous bark to match both its bite and the beat.
Full VR
For this upcoming title, players should be happy to know that all weapons can be aimed freely in full VR. Be sure to shoot to the beat and, for those who have a free hand, show the enemy the sign of the horns before blasting them away. Like in the original game, each weapon comes with its own powerful ultimate that release havoc on the enemy. These include the lightning strike of Paz or the double-time tempo slashes of Terminus.
Enter the Fight
In the game, the Red Judge has stolen the voice of the players and because of that there should be a reckoning. With the VR version, they get to experience the epic story of revenge from a closer perspective. Players get to go on an infernal ride across the Eight Hells accompanied by award-winning actors Troy Baker and Jennifer Hale.
Remember to make Hell fear the beat. Shoot to the beat and the music unfolds while growing power.
