The Met Office has predicted a weather shift for Nottingham following a sunny weekend, where the county had its hottest day of the year. The weather forecaster has said those in Nottinghamshire can expect a dull and cloudy start to today, Wednesday, May 31 and Thursday, with highs of 18C.
This comes after the UK enjoyed a bank holiday weekend of warm weather and sun, with temperatures hitting 21C. Today and tomorrow is expected to remain cooler than the weekend, with some sunny intervals in the afternoon.
Parts of the UK will also see rain over the next few days, but Nottinghamshire looks to miss out on showers this week. But despite the cooler temperatures for now, the Met Office predicts that conditions will improve towards the end of the week.
