Met Office weather forecast for Manchester with week-long sunshine on its way

Mancunians are set to enjoy a lovely period of sunshine, according to forecast predictions.

For Monday, there will be grey and overcast clouds for the majority of the day which will be accompanied by relatively warm temperatures peaking at 16C before drastically stooping to below 10C in the evening.

The Met Office highlighted that Monday evening will see some late sunshine throughout the evening, making way for a fry night with clear skies. However, conditions will improve significantly from Tuesday morning.

Tuesday will see sunny skies without any cloudy breaks throughout the whole day. This will be accompanied by increasing temperatures throughout the day, peaking at 15C in the mid-afternoon before dropping slightly as the evening progresses.

The Met Office said: "Fine and dry with a good deal of sunshine, once any cloud in the east has cleared through the morning. A warm day, though cooler later in the strengthening breeze. Maximum temperature 16 °C."

Similarly, the rest of the week will continue to see nice, warm, and sunny conditions. On Wednesday, early predictions state that there will be a mix of sunny intervals with temperatures remaining as strong as the previous day.

By Thursday, temperatures will begin to drop slightly to a peak of 13C which will carry on into Friday. The Met Office states: "Staying mostly dry and settled on Wednesday and Thursday with some sunny spells, though rather breezy. An increasing chance of showers developing on Friday, and remaining breezy."

By the weekend, the welcomed sunny period will come to an end as the region welcomes more frequent grey clouds and dropping temperatures, according to early predictions.
